RM of Paynton’s story
The Rural Municipality of Paynton No. 470 was incorporated as a rural municipality on January 1, 1913. It lies in the northwest-central part of Saskatchewan.
Within its boundaries are the village of Paynton, where the RM office is located, and the locality of Bresaylor. Today the municipality is run by an elected council and an appointed administrator, who meet on the second Wednesday of every month.
